“Best Practice Austria” is the umbrella brand for Austria’s activities in support of exchanges of know-how between partner countries. The initiative focuses on selecting lighthouse projects of the Austrian administration and heightening their international visibility. Best Practice Austria is the hallmark of innovative and successful Austrian administrative solutions.

Best Practice Austria aims to inspire reform processes worldwide and support their implementation. On our dedicated platform, more than 50 Austrian best practices are presented that demonstrate how innovation and effective governance can go hand in hand.

Best Practice Austria is implemented by aed – Agency for Economic Cooperation and Development. As a service provider to the Austrian Federal Government and an experienced partner of the public administration, aed combines expertise, strategic competence, and international experience to effectively support reform and digital transformation processes.
